3D Printer for Design Projects
  • Summit High School physics teacher Jeremy Morman was awarded a $4,500 grant from SEF to purchase a 3D printer for the Design Projects in Physics class. The printer is up and running as of spring 2016, and is being put to good use in helping students create projects designed to demonstrate physics principles. Seniors Steven Quiros and Arben Geci, shown here, used the 3D printer to create a globe that hangs at the bottom of the Endless Pendulum they are building. "With the SEF's help, the 3D printer with its rapid prototyping has given students another option in the design process!" said Mr Morman.
