ALTERNATE WAYS TO CONTRIBUTE TO SEF

There are many ways to express your support of SEF by utilizing different methods of giving that may benefit you from a tax standpoint while considering your personal and financial circumstances.  If you’d like to hear more about how SEF can help with any of these options, click the “CONTACT US” button below.

CORPORATE MATCHING

Employer gift programs can amplify the impact of your donation by matching and sometimes even doubling the amount. Companies that have participated in corporate matching programs can be found in the dropdown options under the “Get Involved” menu. If you don't see your company listed, you can inquire with your HR department to see if your employer has a matching program. 

DONATE APPRECIATED STOCK

Giving long-term appreciated stock is an another way to make gifts to charitable foundations. With careful planning, you can transfer publicly-traded securities (stocks, bonds and/or mutual funds held for at least one year) and potentially save capital gains tax while supporting SEF at the same time.

DONOR ADVISED FUNDS

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a private fund created for the purpose of managing charitable donations on behalf of an organization, a family, or an individual.  SEF is a qualified non-profit and is already listed on many DAF platforms

PLANNED GIVING

Define your legacy with a future gift to SEF!  Since 2009, our founding endowment donors have given SEF the ability to change the lives of Summit students (a list of endowment donors can be found in the dropdown option under the “Get Involved” menu). Planned gifts (a simple bequest or as a beneficiary of your retirement plan/life insurance policy) can have a significant and positive impact on the future of our schools for generations of students.
