The Shell Station, owned by Waseem Petroleum Group and located at 6 River Rd. in Summit, has selected the Summit Educational Foundation as the recipient of proceeds from its “The Giving Pump” program. Between now and September 30th, visit the SEF wrapped pump (photo below) and fill up your tank to support Summit teachers and students. For every gallon of fuel sold, Shell will donate 1 cent to SEF. The Waseem Patroleum Group is pledging to donate a minimum of $5,000 and SEF will receive the greater – 1 cent per gallon or $5,000.
This program, which is taking place at Shell gas stations across the U.S., is an initiative to drive positive change in local communities by giving back.
The 2021 focus is to help organizations that benefit children. Owner, Danny Chaudhary stated “this year we would like to support the Summit Educational Foundation and the great work that they do”.
